Culinary meets history
Where pleasure reigns today, shipbuilding once began.
Our restaurant is located in a place steeped in history: In the historic “Schnürboden” (flying loft) of the Meyer Werft shipyard, every new ship’s construction once began – with the accurate recording of all its components. The name comes from the measuring strings used for drawing. The designs were then turned into wooden or metal templates, called molds – a craft that required great skill.
Today, our restaurant commemorates this rich history and invites you to enjoy fine dining and regionally inspired specialities.
Breakfast
Varied breakfast buffet with 24 types of tea, coffee specialities, cold cuts, smoked fish, fresh rolls and bread, honeycomb, Belgian waffle station, homemade jam, cakes, egg dishes with bacon and sausages, muesli, fresh fruit and yoghurt.

In our Schnürboden restaurant, we serve regional specialties, juicy steaks, burgers, fresh fish, and vegetarian and vegan dishes—there’s something for every taste.
